North America (12%): Mainly supplied to precision manufacturing and medical device industries.
Others: Growing market demand in Africa and South America.
Core Export Advantages
Our products deliver competitive cost performance, complete surface finish options and internationally recognized precision. Leading domestic manufacturers including TISCO and Baosteel have obtained ASTM and EN certifications, successfully replacing imported products in global markets.
3. Quality Control & Key Points for Foreign Trade Negotiation
1. Material & Surface Inspection
Provide official Certificate of Conformity (CoC), covering chemical composition (Cr, Ni, Mo content), mechanical properties, heat number and surface finish grade.
Conduct visual inspection: No scratches, color difference or roller marks on 2B surface; uniform bright BA finish without foggy areas; flawless mirror surface. Actual roughness test is acceptable.
Arrange third-party inspection by SGS, BV or other authorized organizations to verify compliance with ASTM A240.
2. Dimensional Tolerance
Thickness: ±0.01 mm for precision grade; ±0.02 mm for standard grade.
Width & Length: ±3 mm; Flatness: ≤1 mm per meter.
3. Packaging & Protection
Cover sheets with transparent or blue protective films against scratches. Use wooden pallets for moisture proof. Mark grade, specification, surface finish and heat number clearly on labels.
4. Key Negotiation Terms
Trade Terms: FOB and CIF are commonly used. Set nickel price linkage clauses for 304 and 316L to cope with raw material price fluctuations.
Delivery Lead Time: 7–12 days for standard products; 15–20 days for customized finishes such as mirror and hairline.
Quality Claim: Claims shall be raised within 7 days after goods arrival for re-inspection. The proportion of defective surface products shall not exceed 0.5%.
