Main High-Temperature Titanium Alloy Grades & Features
ASTM Grade 6 / GB TA7 (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn)This typical alpha titanium alloy is the most widely used entry-level high-temperature grade. It can work stably at a continuous temperature up to 450°C. It boasts excellent thermal stability, outstanding oxidation resistance and great weldability. It will not suffer obvious performance degradation under long-term high-temperature operation. This grade is cost-effective and widely applied to aircraft engine components, industrial high-temperature containers and medium-high temperature flue equipment.
GB TA15 & TC11 SeriesThese near-alpha and alpha-beta high-temperature titanium alloys are designed for higher temperature scenarios. Their maximum continuous working temperature reaches around 500°C. With optimized alloy composition, they maintain high tensile strength and creep resistance under prolonged heat load. They are mainstream materials for aero-engine compressor parts, high-temperature structural components and heavy-duty thermal power equipment.

High-performance Beta Titanium Alloy (e.g. Grade 21 / GB TB8)For parts demanding both high temperature resistance and high strength, this series is a reliable choice. It combines good high-temperature stability and superior comprehensive mechanical properties, suitable for complex structural parts serving in harsh high-temperature environments.
Selection Guidance
For working temperature below 450°C and general high-temperature equipment: Choose Grade 6 / TA7. It balances performance and cost, and is easy for processing and welding.
For long-term service at 450°C to 500°C and key load-bearing components: Select TA15 or TC11. They are specially developed for high-strength high-temperature working conditions.
Avoid using ordinary Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium plates for long-term high-temperature applications, as they cannot guarantee service life and structural safety.
