1. Flange Connection
Flange connections are generally fast, easy to install, and require simple tools. However, they cannot meet most project requirements in terms of safety and tightness. They are generally suitable for low-pressure pipelines and frequently moved pipes, such as sludge drainage pipes.

2. Groove Connection
Also known as clamp connection technology, this has become the preferred technology for connecting liquid and gas pipelines. Although this technology was developed later in China than overseas, its innovative nature has quickly gained acceptance in the Chinese market. The development of trench pipe fitting technology has simplified, streamlined, and streamlined the complex pipe connection process, representing a significant step forward in pipe connection technology. Grooved pipe fittings encompass two main categories:
① Pipe fittings that provide sealing functions include rigid joints, flexible joints, mechanical tees, and trench flanges;
② Pipe fittings that provide transitional connections include elbows, tees, crosses, reducers, blind plates, and spiral-welded pipe.
Grooved pipe fittings, which provide sealing functions, primarily consist of three components: a sealing rubber ring, a clamp, and a locking bolt. The inner silicone sealing ring is placed on the outside of the connected pipe and conforms to the pre-rolled pipe groove. The clamp is then attached to the outside of the rubber ring and secured with two bolts. The unique sealable design of the silicone sealing ring and clamp ensures a strong seal, which improves with increasing fluid pressure in the pipe.
3. Clamp Pipe Fitting Connections
As an advanced pipe connection method, it can be installed openly or laid, and offers both rigid and flexible joints. Therefore, it has a wide range of applications, including fire water systems, air conditioning and hot and cold water systems, water supply systems, crude oil and chemical piping systems, thermal power and military piping systems, and sewage treatment piping systems.
Due to the unique characteristics of spiral steel pipe connections, grooved connections simplify pipe connection operations, contributing to safe construction, stable system performance, convenient maintenance, and time-saving maintenance, resulting in high economic benefits. Choose a clamp connection. Although the price of a single clamp accessory is higher, the overall efficiency of the entire pipe network installation is higher than that of a flange connection.
