In international bulk trade price ranking from high to low: 316L>304>430>201
316L: Contains molybdenum element, raw material cost highest, around 15%~25% higher than 304.
304: Standard nickel-chromium austenitic steel, medium price, mainstream market benchmark.
430: Nickel-free ferritic grade, cost roughly 20% lower than 304.
201: Low-nickel high-manganese economical grade, cheapest among four materials, 30%~40% cheaper than 304.Price fluctuation is mainly affected by international nickel, chrome and manganese spot market.
2. Corrosion Resistance
Rank: 316L>304>430>201
316L: Mo element greatly improves resistance against chloride, acid, alkali and seawater erosion, suitable for coastal & chemical corrosive environment.
304: Excellent atmospheric & fresh water anti-rust property, good performance under normal indoor & outdoor common humidity environment, poor in long-term chloride-rich scene.
430: Good oxidation resistance in dry air, easy to rust in coastal salt fog or humid acid environment.
201: Weak anti-corrosion, prone to rust under long-term damp or salt spray, only for dry indoor environment.

316L: Chemical equipment, seawater desalination, marine facilities, medical devices, coastal engineering.

201: 3~8 years for dry indoor; easy rust failure within 2~3 years in damp outdoor environment.
5. Processing Performance
304 & 316L: Outstanding bending, deep drawing, stamping and welding property, suitable for complex forming and deep drawing parts.
430: Good bending capacity, limited deep drawing performance, easy crack during ultra-deep stamping.
201: High hardness, poor ductility, difficult for deep drawing, simple cutting & bending only.
