A brushed stainless steel sheet is produced by mechanically treating the surface of stainless steel to create a uniform, directional satin finish. It combines the corrosion resistance of stainless steel with an aesthetically pleasing, low-reflective surface that resists visible fingerprints and minor scratches.

| Straight Grain (HL) | Linear, continuous lines created by mechanical friction. Available in long or short grain. Eliminates original surface scratches. |
| Non-Directional (Random) | Irregular, matte finish formed by oscillating abrasion. Appears as a series of circular satin rings. |
| Wavy Grain | A wave-like pattern generated by the axial movement of the brushing roller. |
| Thread Pattern | Uniform spiral lines produced by a small motor with a rotating circular felt pad. |

Cleaning agents: Avoid chlorine-based cleaners. Use neutral detergents. A nano-coating can be applied for added protection.
