1.4301 (AISI 304, BS 304S31, X5CrNi18-10) is an austenitic stainless steel with low magnetisability. Welding, forging and cold forming possible.1.4301 austenitic stainless steel contains chromium and nickel, offering exceptional toughness, strength, and stability. It has a low carbon content and is corrosion-resistant. This stainless steel round bar is acid-resistant and easy to process-for example, through welding, polishing, grinding, and machining.
This stainless steel round bar can be used at temperatures up to 600 °C and is also suitable for low-temperature environments. It has an attractive appearance, making it suitable for decorative applications. This stainless steel round bar has particularly good formability-it can therefore be easily drawn and chamfered. All stainless steels should not be used in swimming pools or seawater and are not resistant to chlorine. The surface of this material is rough, so scratches, damage, and wear on the surface are normal.
